BLACKBOOK

Privacy Policy · Last updated August 17, 2026

Blackbook is built so that your collection belongs to you. This policy explains what the app does with your data, which is very little.

The short version

Blackbook has no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking. Everything you capture stays on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your personal iCloud storage. We operate no servers and we cannot see your collection.

What the app stores

iCloud sync

If you are signed into iCloud, your collection syncs through Apple's CloudKit to your private iCloud database. This data is protected by your Apple account, counts toward your iCloud storage, and is not accessible to us or to other users. You can disable this in iOS Settings under your Apple ID, iCloud, Saved to iCloud.

What we collect

Nothing. The app makes no network requests to our servers, because there are no servers. We do not collect usage data, crash reports, identifiers, or personal information.

Permissions

You can revoke any of these in iOS Settings at any time, and the app keeps working.

Children

Blackbook does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date.
